Anyone know anything about this Bike? Was doing a seach for fairings for a STORM and ran across this for a bike for sale back in 14. I tried contacting seller but got no response. Anyone know what batwing this is and how it was mounted?

Not sure but that looks like a Memphis Shades that's been modded. Look closely, it appears there is a rubber trim around the headlight cut out. I don't think that would be stock on any fairing I'm aware of.

I've still never seen one mounted on the Storm or, now, the Commander. And haven't come across this photo you found.

However, Corbin lists a nice one for the Rocket III with the dual headlights. They're all pricey!! And nobody has been able to get Corbin to comment as to whether the Tbird mounts will fit the Corbin Fleetliner for the R3.

I was just lookin at Corbins' Batwing Fairing on their website and it looks really nice,adding aero dynamiics to the machine,alittle more storage,and I suspect,some pretty decent protection from the elements!! But for $1900 USD????????????????? I mean if you were gonna keep the machine for ever,it would probably be a good investment,but I doubt the average guy would keep it that long,and then, take a bath on a trade in or resale.

I've emailed Corbin about coming out with some kind of hardware kit to make their batwing fit the different types of Triumph Cruisers (from Rocket to Storm, or New LT to Storm etc...) .........day 3 and still no reply

I tried that when I saw their lines for the R3. I'm on 2 years now, I think...never a word back. Not even a "piss off" (for our overseas pals)!

Hmmm....The offering for the Commander is less than the Rocket 3. Still pricey to me, but $1600 for the two tone option, and $1500 for the single is better.

And I just sent Tsukayu an email because they say they have a Rocket 3 model (dual headlight) but no pics. Lists it as $895 for the GPS and speaker optioned one.

Keep us posted, if they actually do reply, I'd like a wing and don't even care if there is a place for my GPS or speaker cutouts, I just like the look

And at $895 USD by the time you convert, ship, etc ..... I'd be around the $1300 to maybe even $1500 CAD, good chunk of change but still, I paid almost $800 CAD for my slimbags

My response from Tsukayu (who actually lists a batwing for the Rocket 3 touring)??
===================
Thank you for your interest.

We are sorry that our fairing doesn't fit with Triumph Rocket 3 and Thunderbird Storm, because of the dual headlight.
Please feel free to visit our web site for new information or email us if you have any other problems.

Please let us know if you have any further question.
Thank you for your attention.

Best Regards,
Jason
===================

I responded that they need to develop one because now there are 3 models with the dual headlights (commander, rocket and storm). So we'll see if anything comes of it.

Maybe I'll just buy a standard Bird batwing, and cut up the headlight opening. I've got a bunch of resin and fiberglass from my boat restoration project, so maybe I can just make one myself?? Then again, that'd be a long way out because of so many other projects.

Oh well. The wait continues.
